PS3 Netflix - D-Link Router Tunlr Setup:

Are you having problems switching Netflix regions on your PS3? Netflix has started auto-switching DNS servers in order to improve the performance of their service. This usually results in good service on their part, but it can potentially disable Tunlr from working on PS3's Netflix app.

If our previous guide didn't resolve your issue, you will need to make changes to your router settings.


PS3 Netflix D-Link Router Setup

  1. Sign into your router's admin area. You can usually access your router by typing one of the following into your browser's address bar:
    192.168.0.1
    192.168.1.1
    192.168.2.1
    192.168.11.1
  2. Make sure you are on the Status page. If not, click on Status located in the top navigation menu.
  3. Grab a piece of paper and note down the IP Address listed in the Internet section. You will need this later.
  4. Click on the Advanced tab located in the top navigation menu. Then click on Routing, which should be in the left menu.
  5. In the Static Routing table, you will need to add 3 rows with the following details:
  6. Row 1
    • Checkbox: check
    • Interface: WAN
    • Destination: 8.8.8.8
    • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: noted IP address from before
  7. Row 2
    • Checkbox: check
    • Interface: WAN
    • Destination: 45.33.81.76 (Tunlr Primary DNS Address)
    • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: noted IP address from before
  8. Row 3
    • Checkbox: check
    • Interface: WAN
    • Destination: 45.33.12.13 (Tunlr Secondary DNS Address)
    • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: noted IP address from before
  9. Click Save Settings and then choose Reboot Later. There should be no need to reboot at all, but if your changes have no effect, try rebooting your router.
  10. Once your router has saved the new settings, make sure that your PS3 has been set up with Tunlr correctly.
