Last Updated: Jul 09, 2015 10:50AM EDT

Bell Aliant Speedstream Router Tunlr Setup:

Follow these simple steps to unblock blocked websites, watch American television, and browse the web with no restrictions!

Before You Begin:

Before changing the DNS settings on your router, please make sure to note your current DNS server address(es) and write them down somewhere for backup purposes. If at any time you need to go back to your original settings, you'll be able to with your backed up information.

It may also be helpful to print this page so that if you lose Internet connection, or lose this page, you can still refer to the below instructions.

Take your time and soon you'll be watching American Netflix!

Open your router's administration page

In your browser of choice, navigate to your router's admin page. Check your router's instruction manual to find the correct address to type in your browser's address field. For most routers, it's an address that looks like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1.

If you configured a username and password, enter your username and password now to log in. By default, username and password are both disabled.

Go to Advanced settings

In the top right of your screen, you should see an Advanced icon. Click on it.

Go to Home Network settings

Click on the Home Network icon on the left side of the screen.

Go to Advanced Settings

Click on the Advanced Settings icon.

Edit your local home network configurations

Click on Configure the Local Home Networking modem IP Network.

Edit settings manually

Find the Custom Settings link and click on it.

Do not use WAN

Make sure that Use WAN is unchecked.

Enter in Tunlr's DNS addresses

You must now manually enter in Tunlr's DNS addresses by filling in the DNS Server fields. In the Primary field, you must enter in Tunlr's Primary DNSaddress, and in the Secondary field, you must enter in Tunlr's Secondary DNS address. Use the addresses below to fill in these fields:

  • Primary DNS: 45.33.81.76
  • Secondary DNS: 45.33.12.13

Save settings and reboot

Confirm that you have entered in Tunlr's DNS addresses correctly, and then click apply to save your settings. The router will now reboot.
